Click Here to View on Google Maps Overview: A permit is required to launch a boat on the lake, they can be purchased at the the boat house for either daily or seasonal use. Rowboats and canoes can also be rented at the boat house. There is a closed season for bass where only catch and release is allowed, that period is March 1 through June 15. The lake is managed as a trophy bass lake because of it's ability to produces large bass.
